For a few days I've been having dreams and it had some sort of physical affect on my body. Last night I dreamed that I was cut acrossed my right arm. When I woke up there was literally a cut mark near my right triceps. I heard that sometimes our brains interpret a dream so seriously it reacts as if it is real life. In my case, I got cut by a sword on my right arm. Is it really true that the human mind affects our body?

My Dream:

I was dreaming about a war. There was no guns or any technology involved. It was just Knives, Swords, and if I can recall there were also Bows and Arrows. The war was something like a mass of men VS another mass of men. I was fighting alot of them, but then a sword from an enemy army slashed my right arm. I fell to the ground in pain while my eyes closed. When I reopened my eyes the war turned into a Gun Fight. Kinda weird... All of a sudden everyone's shooting at each other. That's when I woke up; I felt a stinging feeling on my right arm and noticed it was similar to a paper-cut wound.

I am a psychological major, but also a mystic. I would have to know about your dreams specifically to know the answer in my opinion.

i do want to know if you are living in a haunted house. i know that sounds funny, but that may have something to do with this.

It could also be manfistations, such as you dreamt it, and actually got up, and did it to yourself while sleeping, and therefor have this.

I have not ever had experience where the human body actually created wounds without some sort of mystical thing involved or sleep walking.

I would have have to know more, though, so email to discuss it if you like...

Its somewhat true. For some people who are sensitive to spiritual activity, it can be the result of spiritual contact, which for most people occur while dreaming. Its important to research good protection techniques if you feel this may be your issue.

We have many bodies other than the one you can see and feel. Some of these are made of a malleable energy that some refer to as prana, aether, or akasha. Whatever you want to call it, sometimes it helps to envision a barrier around yourself, protecting yourself from spirits that might harm you in your sleep. You need to feel the flow of the barrier, and imagine that it is made of light coming from your own body. Relax your mind and make sure that no negative feelings get in the way of the barrier, and release all negative thoughts and emotions.

Sometimes grounding can also help.
