So i answered a Q in here, and listed the following 10 facts I have found after reading copious amounts on immigration, from both sides, and refered to the basic human needs for life... Yet some of you gave me a thumbs down?

Im confused how my fairly impartial answer resulted in thumbs down, do you not like facts reprinted? Are you angry about the human needs part? I I was just putting that in there for perspective... I even offered impartial solutions to the whole immigration prob?

FYI I am rabidly AGAINST allowing immigrants in who are convicts or who commit crimes here...

Also, about 10 yrs ago saw a pretty pic of a little girl named Avodah, liked it...

It is hard for me, since I have known so many hardworking very nice immigrants from all over the world. Me as a mother, I feel the strongest about the families and moms who want to give their children a better life than they had, like many of us, I meant to offer impartial solutions that were workable, realistic, and reasonable rather than just 'they are all horrrible evil criminals, send them all back' type rhetoric. I think that if we tried to help them get the means to be legal, then they would.... a

No I dont want to hold anyone else's bag, certainly not for felons etc, but for innocent children I care very much, and My mom always said give to others, b/c no matter how poor you feel there is always people out there with less...

I do understand how you feel. However, we need to take care of our own first. We simply cannot be everything to everybody....kids included. I do not like it anymore than the next person, but it is what it is. This country cannot do it all.

Are you speaking of legal or illegal immigrants? Huge difference. If you are talking about illegal immigrants the ONLY solution is to secure the border, cut off the handouts and enforce current immigration law. Sneaking into someone's country isn't a basic human right.

I realize that all human being have basic needs, but do not feel it is the USA should be left holding the bag when other counties have amply resources to care for their own people, but because they let 10% of the people hold 90 % wealth, they not only incougage their poverty ridden citizen to sneak across the border, but aid and abet them with maps. Then to add insult to injury they lecture the American people because we do not grant amnesty to their natives

How about Mexico's not meeting their basic human rights of people. Mexico is allowed to rob illegals, shake them down, steal everything they have leaving illegals in Mexico begging in the streets yet supporters like you for illegal aliens simply say oh well Mexico is just like that,Mexico get's a free pass. Why do you think an illegal who is here is not a criminal. They commit crimes like document fraud should we excuse them from that law and write it off as basic human needs? Why do you illegal supporters like you get the idea of special laws for illegal aliens who break the law ? When you speak of basic rights, can you say in your heart of hearts of all the countries in the world that, Mexico is the neediest nation of earth ? Why isn't Mexico appealing to the world to bring them food. From what we see families are straving millions of them that Mexico's needs are far greater than the rest of the world? Illegals manage to gather up $ 5000 to be smuggled in America when they could live in Mexico for years on that money. We cannot dedicate our lives to ensure Mexico's elite continue to live decadent lives ,refusing to even offer a meal to all these millions of straving people. When is Mexico suppose to do their part ?

There is nothing impartial about neglecting the difference between the legal and illegal. Neglect almost always favors the illegal.

we have laws. you must come here legally, regardless of your "human needs".
this is not the bleeding heart blank check come and we will take care of you country that everyone seems to think it is. there are citizens here that are just as poor off as any of your illegals are. if they can not get help from their own country why are we supposed to be the ones to "help" these illegals???
i don't think so... enough is enough.

Sorry, missed it. An impartial solution "to the whole immigration prob" would be to enforce the current laws.
As to facts, there are more than 13,000,000 Illegals in this country, costing each and every lawful American thousands of dollars each and every year. They do NOT help our economy; they do NOT fill jobs unwanted by Americans. (See American Legion magazine August 2007).
Their breaking the laws and not paying for their crime encourages law breaking by everyone.

Don't worry believe in yourself! You will be just fine with out anyones approval! Man now I see why so many of you are addicted! I have to get off the computer! See ya have a great day!
