First off, you need to have a pelvic exam to determine the extent of the damage to your reproductive organs. If your infection was brief, then you may not have had any lasting damage. But the logner you had that infeciton, the more likely you'd become infertile.
PID, the complication that causes infertility, doesn't usually harm the ovaries. Instead, it scars and clogs up the reproductive tract, making it hard for sperm to join the egg, hard for the egg to enter the reproductive tract, and hard for any implantation to occur.
If you do have some scarring, you may still be able to have children if your uterus is fairly unharmed. In vitro fertilization and other assisted reproductive technologies may help you get pregnant and carry your baby through a health pregnancy.
but again, you NEED to be examined by a doctor to see the condition of your reproductive organs.

Having Chlamydia once does not mean you have become infertile. If you leave chlamydia untreated it can lead to Pelvic inflammatory disease or PID.
In most women who have it, chlamydia travels no further than the cervix but it can travels further upwards through the uterus into the Fallopian tubes. In the Fallopian tubes it can cause PID. Other types of bacteria may then move in making the inflammation worse. PID may be painful, but can occur without any pain at all. If the infection is treated at this stage, the tube may recover completely, or some scarring and other damage may remain.
If the Fallopian tube becomes damaged, the sperm and egg will not be able to travel along it and can become stuck and the woman may not conceive. If she does conceive, the likelihood of an eptopic pregnancy is extremely high.
You can buy fertility tests online very cheap but you risk accuracy. Going through your doctors can be more expensive but will be accurate.

I don't think so. What makes you think you're infertile? If you just had that 7 mos ago I hope you aren't trying to get pregnant by that person. Do you have any idea how long you had it? If it was along time it can do damage. If you knew right away, you're probably okay. the only way to really know is to go to the dr.

No. And I seriously doubt you were rendered infertile in that short amount of time. If they cured it with a simple round on antibiotics, then you're fine. If you had to have an I.V. drip and were hospitalized, then I'd worry.
It takes a long time of having it undiagnosed to become infertile.

You are not infertile. Just because you had chlamydia once and got it treated does not make you infertile. Untreated chlamydia causes fertility problems. And, once you are sterile, there is no reversal. And, why are you having sex without a condom? This disease exposure can be prevented by this simple measure!

what doctors do is over a period of time they watch your cycle of menstration. and somehow during that time they figure out why youre not fertile and yes you can become fertile again. Go to your nearest planned parenthood and they have more information about it.
