I was just wondering if there were any girls out there who would date a guy if he went out wearing skirts, nothing frilly but like long khaki or denim cargo skirts. Not trying to dress like a woman, just wearing a skirt instead of pants. I am 19, 100% straight, and just think that guys should have the wardrobe options that women do. If you would go out with a guy who wore a skirt would you want him to shave his legs or not? Also would you like him to wear tights or pantyhose if it went with the outfit?

I am going to be an architect once I graduate college so I think that I could wear a skirt while working in my office then.

Why is it when I asked the question do you think it should be socially acceptable for guys to wear skirts and dresses all the girls said yes and then on this one they all say they wouldn't date a guy who wore a skirt. Why not

if you can wear the skirt and make it look hip, and really be able to make it look like a fashion statement like a european model of some sort like those of calvin klein i wouldnt mind dating you of course i would date you, but well unfortunately for many women that would seem so unusual, but anyway find that one woman who would love you and adore you no matter what clothes you wear, its ok that you are free spirited and open minded i think that is a plus on your part.

Honestly as a guy and a crossdresser I prefer women who wear skirts although jeans are at best..............ok...........jeans kind of change the gender of the person wearing them in reality, but this is what many modern women want is to look more like a man than a woman so whatever floats your boat is fine I guess. Some women look great in them when they wear heals, other women look horrible in them and they are just a cop out to being more feminine, they don't want it. I know that sounds rude, but it's how I feel about women in jeans. On the other hand, I've worn my own denim skirts out with women in both skirts and jeans, either way I'm still seen as a guy, so perhaps jeans are fine too on women, but not all the time...

I like that you are open minded about that. More so often, guys wear kilts rather than skirts, but that's the Irish and Scots. Umm...I think that it wouldn't matter what a guy wore, his personality and who he is is definitely more important. I would have to say that if a guy were so comfortable with himself that he would wear a skirt, I would most definitely hang out with him and get to know him. I think that'd be funny in a good way. Who knows, maybe I would end up dating that guy.

YES ! I already do wear skirts out in public with my girlfriend and she loves it ! It's just a piece of clothing just like pants only more comfortable and healthier for males which benefits their partners for obvious reasons. I see couples everywhere are out there in skirts at beaches, climbing, hiking, theaters, restaurants, malls and museums just enjoying themselves. I think the trick for the guy is to look trendy in something knee length, perhaps a denim skirt, shaven legs and hose and a pair of decent wedge booties or boots with a polo shirt, hoodie or jacket. For the couples that rock skirts together out and about, kisses !!! :">
