Someone i know had blood drawn today and it came out with bubbles and was foamy. what would cause this? is it serious? the nurse had never seen this before and told her she should find out what it is. does anyone know? Thanx

there was likely a small leak in the vacuum seal of the test tube, I've seen it happen many times. Nothing to worry about.

Leak in the vaccum seal. Ive seen it happen numerous times.

hmmm..... i have never seen one either. but if i'm right it must have something to do with how the blood was drawn..
