Example: In my circle of friends, there is a good guy friend who always answers a serious question with a question. He is an educated person, and has a qreat sense of humor, but we all wish for once that he would just give a straight answer (like the rest of us do). His question to the orginal question leads to more scenarios to ponder, everone just rolls their eyes and the look on their face clearly shows:... here he goes again! We just feel that we always get side tracked by his behavior. No matter in what tone or manner we ask him to just answer the question, he laughs and asks the question again, or another one.
Do you think this is a true case of narcissism, or his own fear of giving the wrong answer or advice? Maybe he just wants each person to figure out their solutions to their own problems?
Please, some fresh insights on this type of behavior would be appreciated.
Thanks !

Again, I'm torn between two answers!
Thumbs up to all that answered-Thank you.
I started out with a serious Q, but somehow I realized that life is too short to be serious about "the little stuff", so I'm just going to laugh it off.
