Most alcohol, yes. Some beers, many wines, and a small handful of hard alchohols are made with animal products. They may not end up in the finished product, but most vegans would purposefully avoid a beer that was fined with isinglass (from the swim bladder of a fish.) There are several sites with lists of vegan beers, wines and spirits, though, so it's pretty easy to find something one can enjoy. (Heineken is vegan - yay!)

Vegans may drink, but they are restricted to consuming from Vegan friendly producers.
There's a list of Vegan-acceptable suppliers and producers on the site listed below (near the bottom of the page).

If I drink soda it tends to be supermarket own-brands (which are very good, don't mock them), and they have Suitable for Vegetarians on them so I hope they are. Otherwise someone is going to be in a lot of trouble! I once bought some prawn flavoured noodles from Safeway which were labelled as Suitable for Vegetarians but when I read the ingredients it listed prawn powder. I called them and asked how they can say it's vegetarian if it contains prawn and the reply I got was that they said it was vegetarian so that people could decide for themselves if they wanted to eat it. I still don't understand that, but a vegetarian doesn't eat prawns.

Almost all Canadian and American beers are vegan friendly (I don't know of any that are not, but never say never). A lot (not all) of European beers are not. All Kosher wine is fine. Most other wines are OK, too.

Yea. I'm not a vegan but as long as theres not animal parts in it its fine, i have some vegan friends. Of course, SUPERVEGANS dont drink, but only because they're usually religious.

Yes. It's a little known fact that most vegans are hard core alcoholics or drug addicts.

Technically, they probably shouldn't, since the bacteria that made the alcohol are one-celled animals and died doing it. They probably shouldn't eat yeast bread either, if they are TRUE vegans, following the PETA line.

Sure can! Vegans eat no dairy products or any products with dairy products added (some cookies, cakes, etc.)
