Is there anything that I can put in it that will take out some of the burnt smell and taste. It doesn't taste bad, and I don't believe that it smells as bad as I think it does. HELLLLLPPP

I have a wonderful book called "How to Repair Food". It's very infomative and most things can be saved. About the only thing that can't be fixed is a burnt taste. My only thought would be to add a bunch more garlic and some fresh parsely to mask it a bit more. But you'll still have undertones of burnt.

The only thing you can pretty much do now is to take out the burnt bits, and transfer the soup to another pot.

Maybe add abit more water, and extra ingredients (frm the original recipe--in proportion), to thicken it. But that's pretty much all you can do.

The thing about burnt potatoes is.... Once it's gone, it's gone

There is nothing to do with burnt potato soup... really. You eat or chuck it. Use a better pot the next time / heavy bottom.... or stay tuned to your cooking and stir with a wooden spoon constantly.
Sorry - not much help here.

You probably will have to throw it out.Pour your soup into another pan and do not let any of the scorched soup on the bottom or your pan get into the new pan.It might be ok...good luck.Sorry there is no way to fix it.

Once it sticks and begins to burn...it's all over. There's no repairing the damage or disguising it. If it's not too bad, eat it yourself, I have.
