Hi, I don't believe in non-comprehensive sex education, yet I need to find 10 good reasons why abstinence-based sex education would be better in the underdeveloped countries of Africa where AIDS and HIV are easily spread (preferably focused around STD's, AIDS, HIV...). Any help is appreciated.

Many African governments agree with you. However, all those efforts fail.

Primary reason? Women are not allowed basic human rights. Women in third-world countries seldom have control over whether or not they have sex. Rape is common. Wives and girlfriends are often coerced into sex. You cannot teach people to say NO until all people have the RIGHT to say NO.

Teach men to respect women, to defend women and to value gender equality, and you will have a basis to start advocating abstinence.

Our leaders, its not that the African people are different then others in the world, its just that our leaders like to steal from us. And colonization. Divide and conquer. How can you build your country up when you walk a block from your house the people their all speak Italian and you only speak french. Don't worry Africa will have its time, like every other continent has.
