How many vegetarians are here?

I am a vegetarian and I was wondering how many people are really strict vegetarians?

Not I. But you might want to re-define "strict vegetarian" to help this question. For some people, a strict vegetarian is another way of saying vegan. For others, it indicates less the extent of their exclusion of animal products and more their diligence. (For example, some vegetarians are okay with picking meat off the pizza or otherwise eating around it while others won't eat something cooked in the same pan unless it's thoroughly cleaned first.)

For a year, starting in September of last year, I ate foods that I knew were probably prepared with fish and/or meat but ate around any flesh I found. I totally fell off the bandwagon by eating flesh a few times, but since my return to the US, I've been pretty strict. I haven't had any meat or meat byproducts since returning, though I have had some dairy and, to a lesser extent, eggs.

I think most people that respond to questions in this section are not vegetarians though, I believe most are meat eaters that have an agenda of pissing off the vegetarians and seeing what their responses will be.
I've barley been in answers for two weeks and I'm already tired, very very tired of the bashing going both ways.

I'm not. My bro is and he gets most of his friends to go vegan. Most people I know who want to be vegetarian or vegan end up eating something sometimes.
