someone needs to explain to me how "green" it is for me to turn in my full size car , to be chopped up, then put on a boat for china, then be melted down, then made into auto parts, sent to korea or japan, then put back on a boat, so I can buy a car that can get 28 mpg instead of the 18 mpg I am getting....?

They are trying to promote this "green" idea, after years of buying big cars. It would be better if they could convert from fossil fuel to something that was more earth friendly. Sunpower would be nice, with collectors built into the outside of the car, to convert into energy. This would decrease our demand on gasoline, and stop emissions.
