Thrush is a yeast infection of the mouth. NO, it is NOT OK to use Athlete's foot spray orally. You need to see your doctor to get an oral antifungal medication. I hope this helps!

Edit: By definition, Thrush is ORAL Candidiasis. If it is vaginal, it is candidal vulvovaginitis. If it isn't oral, it isn't thrush, despite what some lay persons might believe. If you have suspect that you have candidal vulvovaginitis, or a "yeast infection", then you should use one of the over the counter antifungal preparations that are intended for vaginal application. Examples are Vagisil, Monistat, etc.

Blimey. All I can say is that I'm glad I'm not being treated by a 4th year medical extern with a training in urology that has strong interests and experience in men and women's health issues, and doesn't know that you can have thrush infections of the vagina. (It's called candidiasis, by the way.)

If I were you, I'd go get a diagnosis from a doctor before you make assumptions of what it might be.
