Nope, never too late. Why do you want to be a vegetarian? For health reasons? Because you dont like how the animals are treated? Either way, its better late than never.

I went from omni to vegan over 6 months about a year ago. I turned 30 two weeks after becoming a complete dietary vegan. I have lost 45 pounds in the process by incorporating morning workouts about 3 times a week.

30 is not too old. In a way, its almost the best time to grab the opportunity. Like that country song talking about all the better things the singer's gonna do in the next 30 years, I realized that I want something better for my body and my world.

The toughest thing has been incorporating this decision about my personal eating habits into my family life. If you have a spouse and kids, changing eating habits can cause great friction. This is an ongoing challenge, but the benefits outweigh the burden. Best of luck.

It's never too late to make changes in your life. Of course, for any changes to stick, you have to ask yourself why you are making the change.

I've been vegan since birth and have assisted many on their journey to change their eating habits...people of all ages. So to answer your question, no it is not too late. Nevertheless, I would suggest talking to a nutritionist and doing adequate research...and definitely do not go cold turkey, you could make yourself sick.

I was 33 when I went vegetarian and went vegan a few months later. I know someone who was 40 when she went vegetarian and later went vegan. Coretta Scott King was in her 60s when she went vegetarian.

As long as you're alive, it's never too late to make a positive change.

You'd have to explain you thinking about why it could be too late.

I can't think of any reason. We have a veggie business and so see about 3,000 veggies a year. They are all ages, shapes, sizes, colours and creeds. There are no rules as to who can be a veggie. One recent example was a 60 year old man who had just turned veggie.

Your life is defined by your actions, not your age.

No, lots of people have embraced vegetarianism @ various ages. 30 seems like a great age to consider this. Although you're young, you've also got enough experience & insight that you'll probably do the research to make sure you eat a healthy vegetarian diet.

It's never to late to change your habits. I became a vegetarian at 32. Good luck.

let's say you can live up to the age of 80.

in that case, you have 50 years of non meat diet, (provided you stick to your vegertaian diet) can you imagine how many animals you have not caused harm to?

it's never too late to do anything morally right. :)

It's not too late. Many older people go vegetarian as they become more concerned about their health. (My mom went veg when she was about 50!) You can check out these sites for some tips & recipes:
