Okay Faye. I am a scientist with a possible cure for cancer. I have you and a sheep named ummm.. Curly.

One of you has to try this unproven medicine or the FCC won't allow me to distribute it to the millions of people that could benifit.

Are you willing to step up in place of Curly?

I used to just think animal testing was a necessary evil, but seeing videos of how animals in laboratories are treated has turned me against it. For example, these:

Also, it's not just cruel - it's bad science. Modern technology and human clinical tests are so much more effective and reliable. See this article for more info: http://watchingpolitics.com/?p=2300

I'm against it. Animals have the right to live happy lives. It's not right that so many people have decided that it is fine to be so cruel to an animal. What if it was your beloved pet? How would you feel then?

Only humans are physiologically the same as humans.

Animal testing is a barbaric joke now that we can clone human tissue.

Do the treatments that have been found as the result of torturing animals make up for the human lives that have been lost due to the error of trusting science that was based on animal testing?

I am 100% against it!!! but my husband says "well they have to test on animals since they can't test on people".

I would rather have a medicine be tested on a mouse or something and have it die instead of me.

its totally wrong. why do animal lives have any less value than ours? its not fair they dont know why they are being treated that way and they dont deserve it either.

They don't let the animals study enough first.

I think it's great. I want all products tested on animals so they are safe for my vegan family.
