I was just diagnosed in August, and this explains it all. Go see your doctor soon though cuz if you catch it early they might be able to treat it. Believe me, you dont want it. Tons of needles, dont worry though.

You should see your doctor as soon as possible. These are symptoms of diabetes although other things might cause them. If it is diabetes the high blood sugars that are causing these symptoms are damaging your kidneys, eyes and blood vessels, so the sooner you begin treatment the better.

Frequent urination and excessive thirst are the most common. Also, fruity, sweet smelling breath.

Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision

These are also symptoms of MANY other things. Go to your doctor immediately. If you end up having it and don't have it your body will eat your fat, muscles, and eventually your organs and you could die.
