to be guys and girls, but i go to an all girls school and i dont really know a lot of guys so how do i get them there and any tips for making this the party of the year that everyone will be talking about? imhaving it at my house i think, and it cant be masively expensive, thank you SO MUCH!!

The colors should be silver, black and white. The party should be held in your house from about 8:00pm-12:00am. You should watch the ball drop at midnight. Parties shouldnt be massively expensiove ever even on Sweet 16 and stuff.
Deco
1.10 black posters
2 bottles of white paint
1 paintbrush
Write happy new years on all of the poster papers with white paint and hang them around the house
2.10 black table cloths
On any table you have put a table cloth on it.
3.10 of each silver, black and white dollar store candles
Set these up around the house of course lit up
4. Get 3 silver Happy New Year signs like da happy birthday ones to hang over doorways
5. In the bathroom hang up a black towel to dry hands.
6. Drape one wall in the dancing and singing room with black and white sheets for a great club affect.
7. Get Happy New Year ballons and hang them around the house. Prefferably about 30 ballons spread throughout the house.
8.Get white chalk and on the sidewalk in front of you rhouse write happy new year 2008.
9. In bathroom mirror get an expo marker and write 2008 Person on the year and have arrown going down. That way when people look in the mirror its still festive.
10. Siliver, balck and white streamers in the kitchen dining room, living room and your bedroom.
Food
1.Get 3 silver bowls, 3 black bowls, 3 white bowls and put them on tables. One of each color on 3 seperate tables. In the black bowl put popcorn, in the silver bowl put pretzels, and in teh white bowl put candy.
2.Dont forget to get black or white plasticwear and plates at teh dollar store for pizza from your local pizza place.
3. Get silver cups or white cups from soda you can purchase anywhere.
Entertainment
Some dvds. Get some of those good old dvds. Take the couches and chairs out of the living room. Leave the tv and the 3 bowls of food and pop in thsoe good old dvds. Throw pillows,blankets, sheets, cushions, aquilts all over the ground. Set it up so people can sit with there drink and a little bowl of snack and watch movies. Tell people to wear there pjs or something comftorble.
In another room where a stereo is out. Buy a few dance song cds and pop in teh stereo. Kids can dance and sing there hearts out. You can have a dance off and a sing off.
Dont forget the the good old board games. Get games like clue,life,monopoly, sorry, trouble ect to have fun.
To get Guy To Come
Tell your friends to bring a guy guest with them.
What to Wear
Get a nice pair of pjs that will help you stand out. Prefferably a pair of tight black sweats and a silver bikini top from wetseal. Wear silver hoops, black gumball necklace, and a silver bangle. You have to stand out so make sure you tell everyone else to wear bright funky colors. Wear silver, black, or white slippers. Dont forget to wear a 2008 tiara as the hostess.
Privacy
If you have siblings ask your parents top let them stay at your grandparents or a friends house. Make sure to stay at a reasonable noise level though for neighbors and parent purposes
Invites
Invitations should tell guests what to wear, what time, what date, where and what. For apperance purposes you should get a black Happy New Year card and white gel pen. Fill in all the information with the pen. Then get some silver glitter and sprinkle it on. On a white enveloupe write with black gel pen.
Vip
If you want to have vip get silver temporary hairspray from liek sallys or something and put silver tips on your and there hair. Make sure they wear a color in the theme but the color your not which would be white if you follow the tips I told you.
Entering
As people arrive have someone take snapshots of each one of your guests. Have the same person throughout the party walk around taking photo or videos with your own camera. This can be a parent, sibling, cousin, aunt uncle, or otehr relative.
Favors
1.Sparklers
When people are leaving light them up as a finishing to a great party.
2. Black plastic bags filled with candy, 2 sparklers, and confetti.
3. Get white chinese fams at teh art store and write with silver mettalic markers 2008 on them. You can write the guest name or jsut happy new year.
Cake
A vanilla homeade cake with white icing, and black letters reading happy new years 2008 is fine. Dont forget silver sprinkles they sell at the grocery store.
Drinks
Get martini glasses and make fake drinks. Make non alcolalic martinis, shirley temples, apple cider, and ginger ale.
Special Activites For New Years Only
You can make and bury a 2007 time capsule. Tell each guest to bring something and write a little paragragh about it and put it in a box. Then pury it at 11:45 and throw cofetti on it at 12:00.
You can also make reslutions. Write them on little strips of paper and then put them in paper bags and pop them at midnight when you watch the ball drop.
Maybe a Sleepover
It could be a sleepover so make sure to tell guests to bring there toothbrush ect. Make sure you ahve alot of blankets, pillows, sheets, quilts ect for guests to sleep with. Make them know that they can bring tehre own blankets and things.

"Cow juice on heavy ice" is a great fun non alcoholic drink. You need access to some freezer space and hour before you make this drink. Put some ice cubes in a glass cup, rinse the ice cubes really fast and drain the excess water, leave the ice cubes in the cup in the freezer until the ice sticks to the bottom of the glass, when you are ready to make the drink remove the glass with the ice cubes stuck to the bottom and pour half cold seven up and half milk. Serve with a smile. I made one for an engineer and he had a hard time trying to figure out why the ice did not float. I teased him and said I used heavy water. We all had a big laugh when the ice started to float. The secret is out so enjoy your party.
Get some balloon gas and some balloons with different colors. Have each team make a balloon head of a teacher from your school. Have a lot of color pens. rubber cement and color paper. Take a lot of pictures.
Invite a boys club from a school nearby. Ask a school advisor for suggestions. You need more interactive activities to put the guys at ease when they arrive. Don't give them a chance to think. As soon as they come go out and welcome them in. Give them name tags with different colors for games later. Have a snack table with drinks all the time.
Here's good interactive guy/girl game. It's called the Chinese rope trick. All you need is a two six feet long 1/4 inch ropes and a couple of victims. Tie each end of the rope loosely around each wrist of the guy. Then put one end of the other rope thru the arms of the guy and tie both ends loosely to each of the girl's wrists. The object is to separate the two ropes without untying the knots.

all right...my best friend and i throw a Halloween Party every year...affordable, and guy/girls.. so, what i can reccomend to you, is to invite all the girls, and tell the girls to bring ANYONE...including their hot cousins, and maybe even brothers. Also, invite that neighbor kid from 3 houses down...you might like him more than you realize! So, even though you go to an all girls school, you're not completely surrounded by girls at all times...you just have to look. Im sure that some of the girls know guyz. they have to. Also, to make it cheap? Don't serve dinner. Start it about 6:30, and make sure you put on the invitation: 'refreshments"...this means NO meal...but, you can have cool stuff like nachos, and cake. Got it? Fun games, like Scene It? and trivia games are great. Also, you have to have WONDERFUL music...so start downloading...so, good luck, our Halloween Party was amazing this year...I suggest your opening song be "Our Time Now" by Plain White T's...that is what ours was! it shouldn't be hard for u to get guys to come to a party full of girls. if any of the girls u are inviting know any guys tell her to tell him to invite his freinds to come. You didn't mention if it will be an alcohol party if it will it will even be easier to get guys to come
