Medications can cause seizure. Having high fever or being febrile can also cause seizure. Heart problems can also be a cause to have a seizure, like if you have ventricular fibrillation. A very high content of caffeine energy drink can cause seizure.
I have read a couple of articles about these energy drinks and the article specifically mentioned Red Bull, and Monster to have the highest content of caffeine and most consumers who drank 2 or 3 times a day - either one of them - within 12 or 24-hour period did experience mild, some grand mal seizures. If your boyfriend is normal now, I think that his seizure was just triggered by this stimulating agents.
Caffeine works on the central nervous system and makes you more alert. But that's not all. It also acts as a vasoconstrictor (constricts your blood vessels), as a diuretic, and it may even increase blood pressure. It can cause other reactions in some people (like seizure). Though usually not classified as an addictive drug, caffeine can be addictive in the sense that you can experience withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it. But in your boyfriend's case, it was never at all a sign of withdrawal.
I am a Registered Nurse, and not a doctor so I do not give medical advice however, just sharing some thoughts. =)

Seizures are much more common then most people think and there are many different things that can cause one. Your bf will need to see a neurologist to rule in/out epilepsy and to find out what caused this seizure. I had my first seizure when I was 32 yrs old but my doctors believe that is was from a head injury that happened when I was 4 yrs old. It could have been from what he drank or many other things. Let a specialist make this judgement.

Those drinks are dangerous-- A girl in my Daughters R.N. class drank 3 of those things and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance- rapid heart rate and losing consciousness and blood pressure was falling. But he needs to keep doing what the Doc suggested-- We in know way can tell you what could cause his problem but I would say no more of those energy drinks!

Try L'Oreal liquid eyeliner in black on the top. Start from the inside to the outside. Slowly glide it on, then flair out the end just a little bit. For the bottom, try Almay's retractable eyeliner pencil in black. It's very easy to apply. Umm.....apply the white eyeliner on the inner corners of your eyes. Whatever you do, don't try and use that as an actual eyeliner. Good luck!

seizures are caused by a blood restriction in the brain, random out of the blue is usually caused by drugs but 2 energy drinksin 10 minutes could have a similar effect(not as intense or lasting as long of course) the drinks would effect his heart rate which then of course effects blood flow

Does he drink quite a lot of alchohol?? If he does, then the lack of it can cause seizures. I may be on the wrong track for which I apologise. It sounds like you need to get him to the doc's for some tests. Good luck!!!!

I'm not a doctor but I know caffeine, smoking, salt, alcohol, and chocolate are some of the worst things for a heart problem, make sure he avoids those.
