A clot in a coronary artery blocking it completely will result in death (infarction) of cardiac muscle normally supplied by that artery due to lack of oxygen. This is called myocardial (Greek myo = muscle; cardios = heart) infarction (MI).

It can occur in different parts of the heart eg obstruction of the right coronary artery will affect the right atrium and ventricle as well as the sinoatrial (SA) node in the right atrium leading to anteromedial infarction, probably complicated by cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heart beat). The ECG changes of this condition will include Q waves (later) and elevated ST segment in leads V1 to V3 and in aVR.

Other leads of the ECG will be affected in other types of MI.

Hope this explains things. For more info, IM.
