Another woman on YahooAnswers was just saying the other day that she cannot eat eggs because her baby has a bad reaction to them through her breast milk. All of those common allergy/reaction causing foods should be avoided. Bananas, tomatoes, milk, eggs, peanuts, fish, shellfish,... You can find a list somewhere. There are lots of regular adult foods, spices, herbs, etc. that should be avoided during pregnancy and after during breastfeeding. If you have a midwife, she'll give you all the info about it -- should have already.

Many reactions are obviously caused by pollutants or unnatural chemicals in the product such as with peanuts and shellfish, but best to avoid even organic versions of such foods just in case. Better to be safe than sorry.

I have never heard that you shouldn't eat eggs during pregnancy. They are fine to eat as long as properly cooked and they are full of protein which is good for energy and keeping blood levels balanced. Now, I do know once you have your baby the baby shouldn't have eggs for at least one year and sometimes even longer. Babies have a tendency to have allergies to certain foods until they get older. I had a daughter that was allergic to eggs until she turned about 3....now she does just fine with them. So, i say enjoy your eggs. :)

i put the eggs in a pan and add cold water from the tap so both the eggs and the water comes to a boil together. The eggs crack from either dropping them into the water or the temp difference, if you add them to hot water as some folks do. And sometimes, no matter what you do, they crack. I bring my eggs to a boil and then cover and remove from heat. Let stand 10 minutes and they are done perfectly. Got this tip from a cooking show featureing Julia Child and it works every time.

Not at all - only raw eggs. You may want to test the freshness of the egg by placing it in a bowl of cold water - if the eggs stays on its side it's fresh - if it turns upright it's old - the straighter up it points the older it is!
Congrats of the pregnancy

Fully cooked is fine. It won't harm the baby.

as long as they are not farm (fresh) eggs, you are fine. fully cooked eggs are a great source of protein for you and your baby.
