I bought some gourmet cupcakes for dessert tomorrow. I realized when I got home some have creme filling. I hate the way cakes taste when refridgerated, however, will they go bad left boxed on the counter overnight?

Put them in a sealed container with as little air as possible they will not go bad.

It is best to insure they do not get too cold - one way you can keep them "cool" and not refrigerated is to set them (still in the box) on ice - just put a layer of ice in a large container and set the box on top. Be sure to have a towel under your ice bin to insure you don't damage table or floor.

I say seal them in an air tight container overnight. Keep at room temp and you will be good.
