it was that way in the first half of this year, then some more male vegetarians came into the picture, and I think Ashley is really male, maybe sister margaret in disguise. Now it seems like some of the earlier female vegetarians have left.

Some of that does go on here. Some is serious and some is for fun. I eat meat, but have cut down a lot, so I come here to learn and to have a little fun. Maybe the human race will split into two groups, vegans versus non-vegan and all world conflicts can then be solved with a food fight.

Actually, I think there are plenty of non-meat-eaters, both veggie and vegan, on the offense. I also think there are some very defensive meat-eaters, too. *shrug*

As for the gentleman who has seen first-hand the effects of starvation, I'm not sure why you seem to have something of a negative opinion of vegetarian diets. Surely you know how inefficient (in terms of food resources) meat is. I can't re-distribute grain to people who are starving. I can withhold my support of turning it into beef at a 25:1 pound ratio.

I don't notice that, really. There are lot's of omni women and veggie men from what I've seen around here.

For the record, I'm an omni woman. Just trying to gradually ease more towards vegetarianism, that's why I participate in this forum.

No, IMO you have more a pelthora of poor thinking and misinformation that those of us that are flexitarian vegetarians and flexitarian vegans tend to challenge.

It makes those that are ranters, illogical, moral frauds uncomfortable to be challenged, especially by a self-secure woman. Personally, I have more tolerance for the foolishness of the young and rarely block them. The adult "empty barrels" are easy to detect and I block them right off.

Yes, good point

Skully being the exception attacking female.

There are a few males here defending though

It is a shame that words like attacking and defending seem perfectly normal in a question here, don't you think ?

How can you tell who is male or female? From their avatars? Hardly.

Why didn't you refer to vegetarians as vegeheads? Looks like you're the attacker in this one.
