Day by day. It depends how much you like eating meat and how much of your meals focus around it. Stores have fake deli meats which you could replace the real meat with. I went straigh vegan overnight afer watching Peta videos. For about a week or two I was low on energy because I was detoxing. Then I started to feel great once my body learned to use the energy from fresh veggies, whole grains and fruit. Good Luck, I think its an awesome lifestyle

I hear you. I never really enjoyed meat - I liked the sauces, which always cover/coat meat b/c it's nothing but an animal carcass so you have to cover the taste.

Being a vegetarian is NOT expensive - and you do NOT need animal protein. No one dies or becomes ill from a lack of protein. That's a typical meat eaters' argument.

There are so many vegetables to choose from - have fun!

Many teenagers try to become vegetarians overnight. They think vegetarianism is cool, but sometimes they lack the patience to adapt their meat-eating-habits to vegetarian ones so they lose interest. The best way to move away from meat and become a vegetarian is to take things gradually.

Things like beans, nuts, and tofu contain plenty of protein, be sure to eat whole grains, and leave refined things like white flour and sugars out of your diet.

The only people who say there's stuff in meat you can't replace (btw, I'd totally love to know what this "stuff" is) are ignorant.

Protein does not beget protein. Amino acids create protein.

Okay, dear, if you want to become a vegetarian, pls. give yourself enough protein. The advice above is wonderful. You should get them from sth. like eggs, nuts and tofus.
Being sure that you are healthy is the most important thing so pls. get related nutrition enough.
