Mexican food is my favourite!!!!
The reason why would have to be how it can all be so experimental!!! You can cook and try so many different things whilst at the same time adding stuf to make it new!!
Plus i like the fact that mexican food is not just something that is on your plate and you just shovel it in your mouth!! You have to do things like use all the dips and wrap things up !! It is mesy and fun to eat!!
I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD!!!
Yesterday for our sunday lunch my sister and i made natchos, we added chicken cooked in salsa as one of the layers, had it with cream cheese, guacomole, and greek yogurt!! Our kids didnt like it much but me and my sis pigged out!!!

It's generally cheap and filling. But I don't eat at chain americanized "mexican" restaurants. I prefer small, mom-and-pop type eateries where the food is likely to be more authentic. I lived on it when I was stll in school and food budget was a problem. Once ate burritos and tacos ( and all the pickled jalapeños and onions I could handle) for a whole week breakfast, lunch and dinner with a large order of "menudo" every saturday morning for hangovers.

There are 2 kinds:
1. The stuff you buy in the states from "Mexican" restaurants...or even "AUTHENTIC" mexican restaurants. None of them are like any real mexican food in Mexico. I actually like some of it.
This type of food is usually under a mountain of shredded iceberg lettuce, and isn't really Mexican.
2. The mexican food you get in Mexican homes.
This varies widely depending on what part of Mexico they come from. It is good too, but there are many things I can't stomach:
Tripe.
Tacos de cabeza.(head cheese tacos)
Lengua en salsa verde (beef tongue in green salsa)
Birria (stewed goat meat).
Chorizo (spicy ground sausage).
My hubby is from Jalisco, but I personally like the cuisine of Puebla. Again, huge difference.
I'm not crazy about the food of Oaxaca...they are famous for their moles and their black bean dishes.
I also prefer the tamales of Veracruz over the typical tamales of Jalisco.
Sorry, but it is hard to answer your question without expanding the subject!

Not really. It's spicy and sometimes heavy. I will eat it some times. It may also be that we rarely eat real Mexican food in America, although they do exist in Los Angeles.

Its not so much mexican food that most americans know but a sort of western texas take on it. So people should make sure they know the difference. I am more of the texas take fan myself.

I love it! Actual mexican food, not like taco bell. Why?
Fresh ingredients, spicyness, and it keeps you full. :)

I love it, though I don't eat much traditional, since I typically avoid meat.
It's messy. It's spicy. It's involved. It's warm. It's gooey. It's salty. It's tomato-y. Mmm.
