HIV doesn't live outside the body (blood and fluids) for very long, if it did, then everyone in the planet would have it by now. You cannot contract it by kissing someone who is HIV positive. End of story.

If your lips were badly chapped, and his were as well, and I mean BADLY chapped, like open cuts on your lips (which can legitimately happen in the winter), you CAN transmit HIV. Also, if you had open mouth sores for whatever reason, and there was a transferance of bodily fluids such as blood, you could get it. But, those are really specific details, and things have to fall into place pretty precisely. I'm guessing you're fine. But, just for your own peace of mind, before you get in an exclusive sexual relationship, get tested. That way you can honestly tell you're partner you're completely clean :)

Saliva isn't a transmission mode for HIV/AIDS. But for future reference, if you're really concerned about the disease because of sex, get checked on more than one occasion. HIV is a smart virus. Sometimes it'll show up within a few weeks with flu-like symptoms or it can take years. HIV can stay dormant in your body (hiding) until it's ready to show itself and begin the process of duplicating.

No. This was two years ago. If you had somehow contracted it, it would have shown up at this point. You can totally trust this result.
Also, you cannot transmit HIV/AIDS from kissing - saliva to saliva is not a transmissible fluid exchange. All other fluids, however, can transmit the virus if it's mixed with your saliva - semen, blood, any other bodily fluid. So be smart, not paranoid. Kissing ain't gonna do it.

She most likly didnt get HIV from him as she had a test for this 2 years lare which gives the infection plenty of time to show up in her blood, as if she was infected with this it only needs to be in her system for 3- 6 months to show in her blood.

1)You cannot get AIDS from kissing someone.
2)Even if you did become infected with AIDS you should have had at least some symptoms before 2 years after the infection.
3)If you'd been infected with HIV/AIDS for 2 years, it would have shown up on the test.

No, PROVIDED you did not have open sores or cuts that it could have been transmitted through. If you did or are worried, see your doctor or a clinic where you can get a more accurate test.
