Actually you should not be worried about conceiving if you have chlamydia. You and your partner(s) should all go to your doctor(s) and get the medical treatment you need. It is treatable but it is also very dangerous to an unborn baby. Premature birth, PID, can even cause blindness if the mother is still infected while having the baby naturally. Get checked, Get Better, then start planning for your future. PLEASE!!! It's so not fair to the child. Especially since the baby will end up getting the worst out of the deal.

Chlamydia is bacterial, so it can be cured. I'd go get that taken care of and make sure your partner is clean before you even start thinking about conceiving.

Chlamydia can damage fertility if left untreated for too long. It can lead to PID. It isn't a guarantee that you'll have problems, but there is an increased risk for ectopic pregnancies, which can be fatal if they aren't caught. It's been linked with premature delivery as well. Also, it can be passed on to an infant during childbirth (it would infect their eyes and throat, most likely).

Chlamydia is treatable, I contrapted it and took antibiotics and am all clear. You need to get it taken care of before you find out your insides are messed up and you can't have kids. It will start to damage you little by little if left untreated my friend. You also need to make sure that if you are still having sex with who gave it to you that they get treated as well or you will keep getting it.
