Indian cuisine offers a good choice for vegetarians or you can go to happycow.com or vegdining.com to search for veg*n restaurants.
Actually since you're Mexican there lots of good Mexican dishes that are vegetarian as you should know.

It really depends on what sort of place you're going to. A local Indian restaurant has a chickpea dish I love. Many Asian-type places I go to have vegetable dishes with either a meat analogue or tofu. There are veggie diners, American-style restaurants--you name it. So I can't tell you what's good to eat at a vegetarian place because the menus are so diverse, depending on the cuisine.

Please also keep in mind that veggie burgers vary from restaurant to restaurant and from company to company. You may not like a veggie burger at one place, but another place might have something you like.

Look up the place on line to see if you can find the menu first- there are tons of veggie restaurants and different types of cuisine, and many dont serve veggie burgers anyway- those are for the "regular" restaurants to serve to vegetarians.

Pasta dishes, chilis, stews- mac and cheese- the possibilities are endless. Falafel is a always a good choice!

Chinese buffets or Indian restaurants. Subway has a veggie sub. Those are really good.

like fast food? when i go to burger king, i buy a whopper with cheese and no meat. then put fries and bbq sauce on it. its really yummy. also subways is really good too, get the veggie sandwich, or the veggie delight, its kinda like a veggie burger tho, so you might not lke it.
