Is that the "He's home early" syndrome? LOL

Seriously, that's worth a doctor's appointment regardless of what activity started it.

During sexual activity, a number of hormones are released in the blood to give you all that feeling, however, one such hormone is called epinephrine (adrenaline), this hormone has several effects on the heart ranging from faster beats, to premature beats, to palpitations. Unless you have an electrical problem in your heart (Long QT Syndrome) or some type of heart failure, there should be nothing wrong. Still, see a doctor, he will be able to do an ECG to determine whether you have LQTS and an echocardiogram to see how the heart looks and whether its functioning properly.

You have not given any details if you have any heart problem or any other uneasiness, your age, etc. without which it is difficult to answer your question. It is common to have heart palpitations for a normal person also, but it should subside after resting for about 10/15 minutes.

I suggest you to see a cardiologist and tell him the problem so that he can check you and tell if you really have any shortcoming or heart problem. He will also treat you properly and give advise on sexual activities. Do not delay and have it done. Best of luck-

Don't give up your life over fear!!!
Many types of heart disease would call for decreased activity, but unless you see a cardiologist who tells you to not climax, then don't stop. Your life cannot be ruled by unreasonable fear. Don't miss a reason for living. See your cardiologist and get a professional opinion. You may be cutting out an important part of your life for nothing.
