It depends on which province.
You must be at least 18 to smoke. If you look under 30, they will I.D. you when you try to buy them.
Most provinces, the drinking age is 18, but in Saskatchewan, for instance, the legal age is 19.

19 in most Providences, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec as far as drinking goes.
As far as smoking its is 18 except for Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, and British Columbia which it is 19
Well thats what ive found online, i know for a fact about alberta becuse i use to go there when i was underage (18-20)to drink and gamble.

Moronic behavior can start at any age. However, peer pressure of the dumb variety starts in high school so my guess is most "d" kids will be 16 ,17 or 18..
I believe that, like all cities in the world, it is illegal to sell cigarettes and alcohol to minors so they have to wait and be 18.
