I have fresh Broccolie, mushrooms, cauliflower and carrots. Is it recommended to blanch the vegetables first or serve them with the fondue raw?

raw...always raw. they'll turn mushy if you blanche them and then let them sit.

You can also use bread, bagels, pretzel rods, tortilla chips.

you can blanch them for 1-2 minutes then put in a cold water bath(cold water and ice) and let them sit so they stop the cookin process and NO THEY WONT BE MUSHY. but dont do that with mushrooms!. and do different kinds of bread too. and u can use breadsticks and pretzels.. I love fondue LOL

depends on the veggie, and your crowd. if your crowd loves veggies, the raw vegs makes it easier to skewer and dip. if your crowd is less of a raw veg group, make sure that you immerse your blanched veggies in an ice bath to keep them from turning too soft, or discoloring.

steaming also works well. you can do it the nite before and then allow to cool and store in the fridge. saves some time on the day of.

I'd blanch them first, just to brighten them. (Not the mushrooms, though.)
