you can eat the fruit without killing the plant/tree.

In fact fruits and seeds of plants are produced in abundance, if they were all to take root it would deplete the soil. So the tree/plant produces more than what it needs.

also, it is seen as a matter of degree...plants give the fruits freely without running away or screaming. animals do not.

Furthermore, their is the notion that our bodies are not meant to process meat, as we have no fangs or claws like natural predators. Meat takes longer to digest and much of it does not digest. Veggies go through the body quickly and cleanly, with all the healthy fiber.

Notice how carnivorous animals swallow their prey whole in gulps without chewing...they have a different digestive system meant for meat. With our teeth and digestive tract, veggies are optimal.

Meat eaters do not refer to an animal they are eating as poor and defenseless. Why do they consider plants poor and defenseless as well?
If they cared at all, or did any research, they would find out that by consuming animals, you are in turn consuming plants, but in a wasteful way. Very wasteful!
People that try to justify eating animals to themselves come up with excuses as to why eating as a vegan/veg would be just as harmful and wasteful. Its better for the environment and our bodies.
Do some research, and you will find out so much more.

How many times is some stupid retard going to ask this question? Use the f**king "seach for questions" function, it's not rocket science.

The plant doesn't feel anything. If I cut a plant, the plant will not respond and it will not feel anything. Research has been done on this to prove it, duh! But if I cut a cow or any other animal for that fact, it will will respond. It will respond because it feels pain, unlike the plant. If you walk on grass, the grass doesn't feel it, it doesn't react. If you walk on your cat, it will hiss, because it feels it. No one should have to explain this to you.

I eat animals because I love them, and they suffer while being killed for meat. So, since I don't support it, I don't eat them. I eat plants because plants don't have feelings, they're alive, but they aren't the same as animals or humans.

yes we are killing plants but this is completely different since plants can grow back at rate faster then it takes animals to reproduce. Meaning that the ratio of plants is more then animals.

A Theory of Sentience, a book by Austen Clark will explain to you about processing sensory feeling. I won't criticise you for your question, as you may have a genuine interest in the suffering of all life forms and with research, you may understand thereasoning why we chose to become 'veggie people'. Please spend some time reading up on the subject. Thank you.

Last time I checked, a plant doesn't have a beating heart. Now quit wasting your time on here and go get educated!

Well, if you consider that a cow eats a lot more plants than a human, and then you eat the cow... aren't you doing double damage? That's just wasteful. We cut out the middle man.

Well when plants develop a beating heart and lungs and a brain, and blood vessels then I will stop eating them. GO eat your meat and clog your colon
