If you take all the illegals and give them amnesty, what will you do about the reocurring illegals that keep crossing the border?

You don't fix the problem by giving them all amnesty. There are still lawbreakers coming across the border.

Border security is coming to the forefront, need to fix that problem ASAP. I won't be voting for anyone unless they have a good border security plan.

Well, the pros would basically benefit the illegals by setting them free and not have to worry about being sent back. It would also benefit the government by collecting their taxes. It would benefit the citizens who already pay taxes by sharing in the cost
The cons would be-rewarding an illegal act with amnesty-it doesn't deter the next 15 million. It also isn't fair for the immigrants that did it the legal way, which was time consuming and a hardship for them. I believe it shows a big weakness in our government to consider it, and disrespects Americans, by not following the majority opinion.
The argument that their taking jobs Americans don't want, is more false than true. When I was growing up, paperboys road bycycles, not cars. The government has made it difficult for kids to work and it has hurt the American work ethic. Kids could, and would do 90% of the jobs illegals are doing. Besides, after a Mexican gets an American education, they won't do those jobs either! Mexicans need to fix their problems in Mexico-not think the US owes them something.
Mexicans also need to realize that yes you can probably overtake us in numbers, but what happens when your elected officials shaft you again? Fix your own country!

pros = more authentic mexican cuisine
cons = I don't like paying taxes to help take care of anyone except those truly unfortunate people unable to provide for themselves.

America is a melting pot of different races and nationalities, colors, religions. I think all are welcomed, but they should have to go through the correct procedures and should be held accountable for all of their actions. Maybe it's the "correct procedures" that need to be looked at if they all feel the need to enter illegally into our country. Peace! Amen! Let's eat.

Pro - You won't have to deport them.
Con - Encouraging illegal behavior promotes more illegal behavior. Next thing you know, you won't have 12 million illegals. You'll have 12 million legals and 24 more million that just crossed the border.

Well, stuff like piracy will be allowed and thats great. Less money for equally good quality movies. Cons are that teenages will be loitering pubs and having underaged sex and stuff, you know what i mean.
