Most religions see other religions as totally infeasible and ridiculous. I know that atheists see all religions that way, and so if a religious person suddenly realizes that their religion is false... like, "Oh, so my god is not real, now I get it..." would they just say, "Ah, I guess there is no God," or would they just pick out of the hat a new religion, perhaps one they previously thought to be infeasible and ridiculous?

Also, if you are a person that see's other religions as totally false and pretty ridiculous, then shouldn't all those other wrong religions be smart enough to realize they are wrong? Shouldn't they all convert to your religion? Or would they just become atheist?

So I guess it's as I suspected, "I am right you idiot... go read a book... my god is real."

Denial.

I would probably be an athiest.
If I believed or someone could prove that my God did not exist beyond a doubt (yes hypothetically as you pose why are people over reacting..lol) then I think I would likely assume that there was no God at all and have to be an athiest.. it would be hard to believe after being proven that my God did not exist that it is possible for another god to exist.. i guess in this hypotethetical world though if you could prove one god did not exist you may be able to prove which other ones were real or unreal and choose the "real" one.

The story of the blind monks touching an elephant fits here. They all touch different parts of the same creature and come up with very different interpretations of the same thing. But where god is concerned its what you focus on. I think anyone of any faith with elements of omnipotent omnipresent type god dealie can become aware that aspects are ignored. they become aware that what they built their faith on was fallible from human hands so how can one trust humans again? who usually were the culprits for their loss of faith

I went to atheism. Once you realise that the religion you have been told all your life to be true, isn't, it really doesn't do much for the other religions that you have been told all your life aren't true.
I suppose if you find more truth in another religion, you would convert, but if you find that your 'god' isn't true, it doens't automatically make someone else's god true.
Many people realise that their god isn't real when they realise that thier religion really is no different to any other, so in realising your god isn't real, you're usually realising that god isn't real, period.

Umm, the three major religions of this world all believe in the same God, the God of Abraham. Amazing huh? Christianity, Judaism and Islam all begin with the God of Abraham. I suggest you read the Bible, come back and tell us which God you believe in.

To those who are religious: It's better never to have lit the fire in the first place then to step in it and expect to come out untouched...get it?

I tried other religions, and they were all basically the same, so I ended up atheist.

ALL gods are real. But there is only ONE Supreme Being. One can either worship any/all of the gods or the God.

Atheists believe in atheos. They have their own sacred texts written by their prophets and apologists.

The God I worship is the only true God: 'Thou shalt have no other God but me'.

Only joking, it's all nonsense.
