Blackwater, a squad of mercenaries who drive around Iraq like they own the place killing for money and greed. How can a squad of these extremists murder 17 Iraqis and be untouchable? The FBI has even found them to be in the wrong! This is terrorism. No wonder the US has such little respect in the world. Blackwater should be shut down, all money confiscated and its mercenaries and executive held accountable. Blackwater mercenaries are equivalent to death squads.

So Pacer, objecting to 17 dead Iraqis, most or perhaps all innocent is just "bitching" to you is it? What a callous remark. Yet you would see the death of one US soldier occupying a foreign land as an outrage? US troops and mercenaries should not be there. The US has not liberated Iraq. It is not honourable to wage war for power, oil and greed.

All throughout America's history someone had to do the Dirty jobs that nobody else wants to keep this nation free. Everything cannot always be judged by right and wrong.
On a side note, if we paid todays soldiers anything close to what company's like Blackwater paid, there would be no need for Blackwater.

Sounds like you need to learn what a 'mercenary' is, what a 'terrorist' is and how hard it is to tell the good guys from the bad guys in Iraq.

A year ago people like you were screaming about the Haditha 'massacre' - you had all condemned those Marines based on nothing but one side of the story. When the truth came out - the Marines were cleared and now you are wanting to lynch another group of people.

I am willing to bet money that the case against those Blackwater employees will fall apart once it enters a forum where both sides of the story have to be considered.

the US military does not take over the applications. first of all, i do no longer think of that the army particularly has the potential to do it. the problem with the army in Iraq is they are geared up around and knowledgeable to combat status military. via this I recommend one that is uncomplicated to become attentive to and arranged. they are no longer knowledgeable to handle an insurgency. it particularly is why they have businesses like Blackwater with employed ex-particular forces which could do issues the accepted military won't have the capacity to. From what i've got heard, while a roadside bomb is going off over there this isn't any longer unusual for Blackwater workers or perhaps a number of our troops to shoot something that strikes outdoors the Humvee. i think of i could do a similar in that concern because you do no longer know who's the enemy and who's a civilian. Plus there are maximum of folk getting killed and injured over there that this isn't any longer too difficult to conceal up. particularly that they are no longer going to get kicked out of Iraq and in the event that they do, yet another contractor will take their place. through fact they are no longer subjected to any regulation, they are waiting to apply unconventional potential to end their activity. On one area, it supplies them the flexibility to do what the militia needs it ought to do, yet on the different hand it supplies them ability to do horrendous issues.

Just consider the source of the people who are bitc***g about Blackwater killing 14 people. How many of our troops have been killed just by friendly fire? These people are in a war zone not a high school at home in this U S of A. Can we please stop threatening our own troops with consequences for doing their job and get back to the job at hand; winning this war on terror!

You are mistaken. You go ahead and call up any person that was in a convoy while it was under attack that had a group of Blackwater boys ride in and help out. They are the paid guns that go in and do it when you guys are sitting on your *** refusing to help your country out!

take it easy cowboy
the US government should have been spending a little more time monitoring that civilian company. they are admittedly a money making business....and that's it, with sadly, a few bad apples.
