Why is it easier to believe what the enemy says about us,?

Because the devil is a sly old fox and good at making the lie sound like the truth.
We must be knowledgable of the Word of God and become adept at distinguishing truth from the fantasy of Satan.

Satan says we are our own man or woman. We are not lovable, and so on.

God says "You are mine, I chose you." God says "I love you so much, I gave My own precious Son, in order that you may have eternal life."

That is because before we were reborn we were those things and now we just have those thoughts from time to time because of a unrenewed mind. But the more we cast down those thoughts with the Word of God, the more easily it is to ignore the enemies attack.
That is the way satan steals from us, through our thought life. He has been stripped of power, so he uses us against ourselves. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

Because the enemy (devil) is a sweet talker that tells us just what we want to hear. And it is so easy to believe what we want to hear.

I don't know what 'enemy' you're referring to, or what god is supposed to have said about us, but the simple answer is...
Enemy = real person... God = possibly not real entity
I tend to believe what real people say over the voices in my head. Well, usually.

that shows the weakness of our faith. Those who have strong faith will never care of what the world or devil says. Yes to err is human and sometimes we listen to what devil says because bad things are always attractive and its the duty of devil to distract the walkers.
It depends on us as how do we want to protect ourselves.
