Because if you have no experience with relationships or aren't putting yourself out there, then how will you know when that one right person you will marry comes along?? Sure, relationships at young ages may not go anywhere, but it is good experience for when the real deal comes along. And no, its not always all about sex... I mean, for some people it is but that's life. Its trying to find company, love, all the things we as humans need and desire. Age is not exemtion from normal human urges and needs.
Some people also do not want a family, some people are not interested in settling down.
I'm 21, engaged and I'm going to spend the rest of my life with him. Just because I am under 22 does not mean I don't know my own mind and heart.

Ok well lets see...

11-13
Girls and boys at this age want to date. Its natural for them to want to. Some even have sex! Nasty..Anyways, I know my friend dates because its fun, and she likes having somebody to have a crush on. She just turned 13. Although, in the movies, kids date if they've known each other for a long time. In real life, they date even if they dont know each other. I am yet to date anybody, or kiss somebody.

14-18 and sometimes 19
Teen years. This is the time when teens are curious and feel that it is right to have sex and date. Actually, kissing and dating is nothing to them. Relationships last longer and are more memorable and important.

19 and up
Its completely normal to date as an adult! Relationships last much much longer, and adults have sex. And eventually they get married and have kids.

I, personally, have never dated. But my sister has run into boys who date or sex, and sex only. Of course, she declined. The point is, its natural to have a boyfriend/girlfriend and go out and love each other. Its an important part of life.

the point is, you don't know that you're not going to end up with that person.
if you like a person, you should always go for it and not think too far into the future - you don't know when you're next going to have the chance to be with someone you like. even if you are only 13.

companionship, experimenting, peer pressure, life experience, hormones . . . there are many reasons for having a relationship, sexual or otherwise, other than starting a family. this may come as a shock to you but some people dont even want a family!

It's all biology.

Everything relates to having children. It is our drive. We don't want to have kids mentally at 13 14 15 - but we are biologically driven to do so.

it's good because it teaches them values, and prepares the for the real ones. if you don't get into a relationship until 22+ than you have no experience. plus teens have alot of hormones goin on too

So the sole purpose of love, romance and sex is procreation ("having a family")?
