An adjective is a word that describes a noun.

Some adjectives are formed by adding the suffix - ful.

Examples:
His shirt is colorful.
Her smile was peaceful.
Their children are joyful.

Some adjectives are formed by adding a -y to the end of a noun.

Examples:
My legs are hairy.
His skin is leathery.
The issues are weighty.

Some words are adjectives and are not formed from any other words.

Examples:

My daughter is gorgeous.
The kids are wild.
The house is large.
