She may be concerned that the others are invading her space whilst she is sitting on your lap. Cats will peacefully co-exist for ages, then suddenly have a spat, hissing and growling at each other. Often it happens when one cat approaches another unexpectedly. There could also be jealousy. I've noticed some of my cats like to 'claim' a human as their own and will try and chase others away if they're sitting on your lap. We have two toms and a queen. Sometimes all three will sit on my lap together, grooming each other. then sometimes - usually in the middle of the night - the toms will be fighting world war III. However, at the end of a day, who knows what a cat is thinking! They make up their own rules as they go along!

It's possible she wants to be the "top cat" of the house. Are your other two cats males or females?? If even one is a female, she may be saying to them..."I'm the queen of this house". It's also possible that her hormones are out of whack because of her spaying, and she's a little bit bitchy. I wouldn't worry too much about it...if she becomes more aggressive, I would consult a vet and make sure it's nothing medical. Best of luck!!

She is doing what all cats do at first. Establishing hierarchy. This is libel to go on a while longer. Don't worry just let them work it out for themselves. Eventually they will.

when u get a cat or any animal fixed, you run the risk of changing their personality a little. when they r fixed, you cut off the organs that produce sexual hornomones, and when its shut down it chages personalities.
