We have been dating for a week, and I feel he expresses his interest in me on our dates, however, there are no follow-up phone calls the day after, neither has he made an effort to talk to me online. Though he calls only when he wants to arrange our next meeting. I want to talk to him everyday to get to know him better. However, I am also confused that why he doesn't try to talk to me everyday？I feel it is so simple. Just pick the phone and ask about my day or something. I don't know if he is thinking about me. Suggestions?

First of all I am not too sure why he should be calling em when he is dating you, who is this emily or emma?
Seriously, first of all you have been only dating a week and as u say he expresses interest on your dates towards u. He may not want to call u everyday incase it makes it seem like he is getting too heavy too soon in the relationship. I can fully understand that you want 2 talk 2 him everyday even if it is just to discuss how each of your days have been etc, but I think that you need to tell him all of this, as he is not a mindreader. It is good that you want 2 talk 2 him everyday but just bear in mind that it is still early days yet and both of you will still want to do other things, and have your own space at times, which is I think good in relationships, but I think that your best option is to talk with him about the above, as communication between you both will always be a good part of the relationship and makes it more healthy.

You've only been dating a week give the lad a chance! Prehaps he's not into the whole talking on the phone everyday and it gives you more to talk about when you meet up! You sound a bit possesive give the lad room to breath!

You might be moving to fast, but if he was interested in you he should be calling you. You should ask him why you guys dont talk on the phone. He might just want to get in your pants. Booty call!

i do not know about everyday. and if you have only been dating a week.. how many dates have you had? you may be rushing things...and that would make you look desperate.

He might not like talking on the phone.I hate it.I prefer to talk to someone in person.Dont shoot him down just because of that.He still wants to see you,doesnt he.
