yes they do, but only to a certain point then the mother will definately need inducing. some practitioners even allow women to go up to 41-42 weeks providing that the mother has had no complications and problems. however, if the mother has had some problems, they do not advise it at all, as it could be damaging to the child.

Do you mean yoru due date as in having a baby or paying your bills? The answer to both is no.

In pregnancy, yes. But not for as long as they used to. Maximum is about 7 days I think. Don't quote me on that.
