Unclepooh007 is absolutely correct. They were pulled off of the market due to negative hype by the anti crowd and are now made under the name Winchester SXT. The SXT stands for Same eXact Thing... They are no longer black but their performance is the same.

Personally I shoot Speer Gold Dot but have some SXT's in my 1911 for those pesky wild hogs on our hunting land.

There is no good source for Black Talon ammunition. Occasionally a box surfaces, but they are expensive. The current incarnation is the Winchester Ranger-T (for talon), but they don't make a .357 magnum round. They do make a .38 Special +P. While Winchester would like to restrict the sale of Ranger-T to Law Enforcement, several sources will sell to private citizens. Below is the link to Winchester Law Enforcement site that has information on the current talon ammunition.

As other where mentioned, Black Talon 'cop-killer' ammo has been pulled from the public market, due to 'bleeding-heart liberal' media hype. Any true professional will tell you that they weren't THAT dangerous, and all the gruesome rumors were just that.
There are many 'business loads' on the market now that are just as effective, if not more so, than the 'insidious' Black Talons, including Hydra-Shok, Cor-Bon, Speer 'Golden Saber', and Hornady XTP's.
Not only that, but using compatible components, any competent reloader can load cartridges which are 'hand-tuned' to their individual weapons which can outperform even these 'brand name' factory loads.

Black Talons are now copper colored and on the market under the name Winchester Ranger.

I personally prefer Hydra-Shoks.

Snub nostril is a barrel length, no longer a high quality designation. If it particularly is a .357 magnum then .357 magnum cartridges will artwork in it. .38 particular additionally works in .357 magnums besides, it particularly is a decrease ability load.

Winchester makes a bullet called SXT. The ballistics are comparable and I will personally vouch for the performance. I use them in my .357, and my .40 .

Good luck with this one Ken, Winchester stopped selling these to civilians and with their recent problems I'm not sure how available they are now. I still have like half a box for my 10mm, but haven't seen any even in the police supplies for a long time.

Try gun shows. You might get lucky.

They stopped making them back in the day due to media hype.

From what I've gathered they are overrated. Any other quality service ammo will do just as good of a job.

Look into Federal Hydra-Shok JHP's
