Let me first start off by saying that everyone has the potential to see a spirit. Maybe that will happen once just briefly or it could happen many times, but the thing to remember is that everyone can see them given the right factors.
Why only some people will see a ghost in a certain location can be explained in many ways but let me put it in simple real world terms that most people will understand. Let's pretend you and two friends are in the woods and you all have AM/FM radios with you. You are all standing side by side and each of you is trying to tune in a very weak signal from some small radio station. Your one friend has a great radio and they easily tune in the station clearly. Your other friend has an average model radio and they can get the signal briefly but it is filled with static. Your radio is the cheap model and you cannot get the station tuned in at all. Even though you are all standing next to each other and trying to tune in the same station you are getting three different results. Now picture each person as a "radio" that can "receive" the signals that a spirit is transmitting. One person may get the spirits signal string and they will see the spirit. The next person is not as tuned in and they may see something briefly but they may not be able to make out all the details. The third person cannot receive the spirit's signal at all and will not see anything. Hopefully this gives you an idea of how this tends to work. Each person is actually a receiver of the signals or energy that a spirit gives off. Sometimes the signal can be tuned in and other times in cannot.

Ghost are a touching subject. Why can't we see ghost? Well I would say that seeing is believing. Also in things that I have read ghost are seen a lot by children, and people that have had a traumatic experience in life generally near death.
Why are they invisible and how come only some can see them? I don't think that ghost are invisible, I would say they are a form of energy that hasn't taken shape. And I think that can be seen by anyone who is open to the experience with out a bit of doubt in their mind. I think that the most common way of seeing ghost is out of the corner of our eye. Or when you sense someone or something but you are alone.

Because spirits don't have a physycal body, it takes a lot of energy for them to manifest into something visible.
They can be seen by all people but some people may see them more than others if they have a higher vibrational level to them - if they are more in tune with their own spirituality & who are also open to the idea of spirits existing.
Someone who is convinced that ghosts don't exist, is much, much less likely to see one, because their brain blocks it out.
Just like how a young child is more likely to see spirits as they have not yet been conditioned to believe that they don't exist & are open minded & see things at face value. Only when little children are told "there's no such thing, no you didn't see anything" etc will they start to block such things out.

Ghosts may not even exist, but I've heard a few reports on TV that people saw a real ghost! The reason they're invisible is probobly because its their soul that they control not the body, you may-veryveryveryveryveryvery rare see a ghost in building that has been standing around for ages and noone's living there, only at midnight, more likely full moon.

I've seen the paranormal, I think basically I can see things most people can not. I remember I was in class one time and my teacher had a something on the overhead projector, it looked like a whole bunch of meaningless lines going all directions. But I looked at it, and I instantly recognized that it was something he had shown us before that had been broken down to look like nothing. The thing is that I was only like the 1 person out of 20 students to even have know what it was. I am not really a smart guy or anything, probably the dumbest guy in class, I just have exceptional vision. I was at a baseball game one time and the staduim lights spelled beer and drugs, and I was telling my friends but they did'nt believe me but I swear it did. That was at the Oakland Coliseum a few years ago.

It isn't that the ghosts only appear to some people.
It is that only some people are sensitive or percpetive enough to see the ghosts.
I think that you could see ghosts if your trained yourself to be more intuitive and aware of other aspects of reality.
But just as in sports and music, some folks are just more naturally talented than others.

I don't believe ghosts are free-thinking spirits. They are imprints of memory left upon the earth. People who see them are merely in the right place at the right time. There is no 'divine intervention' involved.

i think actually there is no ghost. It just some people's suggestion, or in some people's mind they picture theirself with an image of ghosts so they think that there are ghosts. If you never think about ghost then i guarantee that you will never see a ghost because its just your mind who make that image :P

ghosts are generally seen by all present
it is spirit that are unseen
and that is because they are resonating on a different frequency
those in tune with that frequency are those who can see spirit

IF ghosts exist, I believe we can only see "shadows" of them because they don't belong in our world, so can never be here completely.
