when you email ask them specifically for a phone number for contact, ask for an address. I also ask for a picture of teh pups with a local paper showing the date and in most cases you will not hear anythign back or just excuses. Most of these are total scams. tehse dogs usually need c-sections to deliver and pups should be wormed at 2,4,6, and 8 weeks and be vaccinated at 6 weeks all done by a vet or through the vet. I really can't see people dooing this also what kind of guarantee do they have as for a copy to be sent to you so you can look it over before going that distance.
I know one led someone on thenm all of a sudden they "had to move" and now the person had to send a $350 shipping fee.
Do remember there is nothing free and you get what you pay for. BEWARE

I can't say 100% that it's a scam or not. I work at a bank so what I would recommend you NOT do is cash the check and send them the money. There are scams out there where they try to get people to cash fake check and send them some of the money. That way when it comes back bad, they have money and you're on the hook for all of it. If you still want to go through with it, I would recommend you deposit the check and wait to see if it's good or not. You would probably want to inform your bank that it might be bad because I know many banks charge you a fee if you deposit bad checks. Wish you the best of luck.

There is no such recognised breed as the British Bulldog - whether you are in the UK or US there is only the Bulldog.

(don't believe everything you read on Wiki!)
If you want to be sure of buying a healthy puppy from a reputable breeder, go through one of the many breed clubs for the breed.
You are not going to find a FREE Bulldog puppy - why would anyone give away puppies worth £100s of pounds?

The RSPCA doesn't even give dogs away. To re-home a pedigree dog costs over £100 and a cross-breed is £58 (mine was this price). Then you have your home inspected, have to pay for vaccinations and promise to have your dog neutered. So the offer of a free pedigree bulldog seems rather suspicious.

I would not trust it. When you contact a breeder them them you only want a pet quality pup or if you would take an older dog , this should bring the price down for you
to the answer above me yes there is an Brittish Bull Dog

Very unlikely to be legitimate. It is against the law not to provide a full contact address if it's a company. It is probably a puppy farm. Contact the Kennel Club and ask them how to go about getting in touch with a legitimate dealer.

A pedigree bulldog is highly unlikely to be given away for free.
for that matter ANY pedigree dog is unlikely to be less than £300
