Hello
i have done first and second vaccination hematite B .i will do the third step next week.
recently i have done a complete blood test for hematite B & C and HIV.
my HIV and hematite C test is negative.
my question is about hematite B results.
my result is as below:
L'Antigene HBs:Negative
ANTICORPS ANTI-HBs :205 mUI/ml
ANTICORPS ANTI-HBc:Negative

I saw some where that ANTICORPS ANTI-HBs more than 10 mUI/ml means positive and in this case my test result is as below:
L'Antigene HBs:Negative
ANTICORPS ANTI-HBs :POSITIVE
ANTICORPS ANTI-HBc:Negative

as i told you before i have not done my third vaccination, and i did not tell it to person who did the test because he did not ask me about this matter.
so is my test valid?
am I safe against hematite B?
thanks for your reply
Best Regards

These test results indicate that you have not had the hepatitis B or hepatitis C or HIV infections in the past. They do show, however, that you've received one or more hepatitis B vaccines in the past (which you already knew!).

Since three shots are what is recommended for hepatitis B vaccination, I'd follow-through and make sure I got the third shot.

The test results are for Hepatitis B- but looking at different things. The HBs is looking for surface antigens, the HBc is looking for core antibodies. What the test tells them is that you do not currently have Hepatitis B, nor are you currently recovering from it. You do show some antibodies from the vaccination though. At this point you would probably be immune, but possibly not. You should be tested again after the third and final vaccination to ensure you have an immune titer. In the future, you might want to mention that you have had the HepB vaccination. That way, they will be expecting to see the results show that. And if it ever doesn't show, they will also know you need a booster.

from what I understood from the acronyms (would be nice of you to copy as it was on the test) he is imunized for hepatitis B and do not currently have the virus on his system. Did he get vaccinated? If so, he is immune, if not, he had the disease and PROBABLY is cured, but need a little more tests to confirm this.
