Your right, although I'm pretty sure most people don't care, they just like to argue for fun. I do it all the time, ragging on Christians is addictive, because they'll try and argue their way out, but no matter what the atheist has the higher ground.

Who cares if it is the 21st Century? God still exists, people still sin, we still die. All the science on the earth hasn't been able to stop that yet.

Well it would matter a great deal if a God exists, especially one that actually interacts with the world.

Besides, if a God doesn't exist then that would make religion a pretty big fraud.
