i still think on this forum people can be really rude, i am yet to come across anyone with that kinda attitude face to face, then again thats kinda the point of having a forum and a bit humour doesnt hurt anyone...so i think we should lighten up

I wish that some of us who are believers would not make the rest of us look like idiots...
and I wish that some atheists would just think about it and say that they are agnostic---if they were atheists they would not be so heavily invested in denying something that does not exist, they'd just leave it alone...one of the oldest themes in literature is a person in conflict with God. That's what atheists are---fighting something that (they believe) does not exist. Who is making sense here? the atheists claim to have a hammerlock on reality, as do the fundies. I am a Jewish/Christian and have doubts, questions, to the point where I could be called a borderline agnostic...sometimes...
If you delete this question I will wring your neck...

It's wrong for anyone to insult anyone else. That's no way to act either Christian or not. I think Christians should never insult other people especially. It's no way to get the point across that God is really love and caring. When you insult someone you are representing God in the right way. I would say I care about you and I realize that you don't believe but I hope that one day God will show himself to you in a way that is unmistakable. And then pray for that person. I would never say anything to make them hurt.

YA is an entertaining play ground. I admit to being a malevolent little ray of sunshine some days.;)

Thing is that religious people keep bugging, non-religious people with their religion. If the religious people could accept and respect that non-religious people are not interested in having religion forced upon then, things might be a tad different.

When I am going to be insulting in a serious vein its painfully obvious to all. However, most find my humor just as insulting.

I'm glad to see someone ask this question, because I've been wondering myself. Debate is fun, threats of eternal damnation get a weee bit old.

Sorry, typing my thoughts again.
Nah, people just bicker back and forth as means of personal amusment. I call it quasi-trolling.
