i have 0-6 buttons and the code but no format i try seems to work

Try pressing the 1 button as many times as the first digit in the code, the 2 button for the second digit, the 3 for the third and the 4 for the last digit.

Then you should be able to press 5 and have it accept the code.

the normal method of entery for these type of radio is simple entry, ie if your code is 2533 then you type in 2533, if your code has digits greater than6 then you may have the wrong code.

it will only allow you to enter the code if the display is showing ---- otherwise it may be locked out.

A good car audio dealer should be able to retreive the code for you.
