Definitely take her to the vet. It's impossible to say online if it's dangerous or not, even if we were vets.
Since it developed so quickly, I'd definitely take her in ASAP. If it's something bad, it's growing very very quickly.
Good job at being so aware of your dog's body that you spot an anomaly the day (or day after) it develops!

I agree with the vet suggestion.
The vet will do an exam, then if they aren't positive about "what it is", they can do what is called a needle biopsy. They take a needle (not a giant one) and take some cells & fluid from the lump and look at it under the microscope. Then if they aren't sure what it is, they will want to take it out.
I have 3 dogs, I've had one of them for 16 years (yay!) and among the 3 of them, we have had probably a dozen lumps biopsied; 3 dozen watched and only 4 removed. Out of all of those, only 1 was a problem (low grade, slow growing cancer).
They couldn't remove the that was a cancer without risking my dog's leg so they said to "just keep an eye on it". About 3 months later, it had started to shrink; 3 months after that it disappeared completely. All verified by the vet.
So, take you baby to the doctor so you can get this checked out and so you can quit worrying. She can sense you being worried, too, so take a deep breath and get her seen.
Chances are very, very, very good that this is nothing but a fatty (benign) lump or she got bit/stung by something or she got a small cut that has an infection (simple things).

I accept as true with the vet advice. The vet will do an examination, then in the event that they at the instant are not valuable approximately "what that's", they might do what's named a needle biopsy. They take a needle (not a sizable one) and take some cells & fluid from the lump and look at it decrease than the microscope. Then in the event that they at the instant are not valuable what that's, they're going to opt for to take it out. I fairly have 3 canine, i've got had considered one of them for sixteen years (yay!) and between the three of them, we've had probably a dozen lumps biopsied; 3 dozen watched and easily 4 bumped off. Out of all of those, merely a million became a difficulty (low grade, sluggish becoming maximum cancers). They could not eliminate the that became a maximum cancers devoid of risking my canine's leg so that they pronounced to "merely shop a watch on it". approximately 3 months later, it had began to cut back; 3 months after that it disappeared thoroughly. All examined by ability of the vet. So, take you toddler to the common practitioner so which you will get this looked at and so which you will stop annoying. she will experience you being annoying, too, so take a deep breath and get her considered. probability is very, very, stunning that it is not something yet a fatty (benign) lump or she have been given bit/stung by ability of something or she have been given a small decrease that has an infection (straightforward issues).

i would take her to a vet asap. it could be something like a hernia, a fatty lump of tissue etc but it could be worse like cancer. my dog had a lump come up all of a sudden and we took her to the vet to find out she had womb cancer and it had showed in a lump on her belly! (another reason for them to be spayed if you arent going to breed, apparently its quite common!)
dogs dont show pain as much as us humans do so you might think that shes pain free but actually isnt.
for godsake dont rub it and poke it incase it is serious and it causes your dog pain!
is the lump above the nipple area? is it hot or the skin red or the nipple leaking if so it could be a blocked milk duct.
either ay just keep an eye on her hile you wait for an appointment, make sures shes eating, drinking and not fussing over the area. if her habits change and your appointment isnt for a couple days then call the vet again and explain you need an earlier appointment
good luck

I found a lump on my dog 2 weeks ago and that was just a build up of fluid because her season had just finished, so it dosent all mean bad news. But, you do need to go to get the right answer. Nobody on answers can really tell you what it is with out looking.
Hope everything works out ok, let us no the out come, good luck.

take the dog to the vet - I have had two dogs with mammery tumours. One was cancerous and the other was not. Some lumps can grow to a large size if not removed.

My dog has a large lump on her side too. You can kind of roll it around. The vet drew some fluid out of it and said not to worry it was fine. It looks kind of odd, but she is OK. It does not bother her at all. She is still my Sugar Baby!
I hope all goes well. Please take your dog to the vet and have it checked out. Very important to do so.

Don't delay. Take the dog to the Vet. This could just be fatty tissue but, it could also be a cancerous tumour. Discovered early gives a better chance of survival for your pet. Have the dog checked out as soon as possible. Good Luck...

Has she not long since finished her season, Amy my Lab had a large lump but she was also drooling as she was running a temperature, it was a false pregnancy and she needed medication and then spaying to stop it happening again.
If this is not the case then you still need to get her to the vet and get it checked it has obviously happened very fast and may be serious, but then it could also be nothing to worry about, but you need to put your mind at rest.

My dog had something like what your describing. I took her to the vet and she had to have the lump removed as it was a tumour, not the cancerous type, but it was making her feel quite poorly. Get her checked out.
