are people in non-Christian religions deluding themselves if they believe that God (or gods) is answering their prayers because they are doing His will?

If so, would they try to explain the times that their deity (or deities) seemed to fail them by saying that their god has a plan for them that can't be grasped by humans?

Are their outlandish and logically contradictory beliefs often defended with the assertion that their deity can do anything because he is all-powerful -- conveniently squashing any possible argument?

Does any of this sound familiar?

The reason Jesus is the only path to salvation is that no unclean thing can dwell in the presence of God. Jesus provided a way, the atonement, by which we can repent of our sins and then made up for the sins we couldnt fully make restitutions for being merely mortal. Believing in Jesus, alone, isnt going to save anyone. You need to be actively repenting and striving to become more perfected.
Not all people are in a position in this life to fully comprehend and accept Gods plan. They are where they are at and if seeking truth will learn as much as they can within their various cultures and religions. There is some truth in every religion. Some people will first be introduced to God and his plan in a religion that doesnt have the fullness of the gospel to prepare them to accept it when they are in a place, in this life or the next, to accept the plan and repent.
I believe God teaches people in a manner they can understand when they are in a position to fully open up their minds and hearts to the gospel.
Even if I believe there is only one religion with the fullness of Gods plan, I think that all religions provide some truth and help many to get to a place where they will be ready to accept that fullness eventually.

If you were informed that you have been created by a deity, a logical line of reasoning would be that he is capable of things that you could not imagine. In other words, if God exists, any possible argument is automatically squashed. I recommend considering yourself and the universe, and then comparing the information you receive by doing this with the texts that are the basis for religions.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

If you do not accept the sacrifice of Jesus, God does NOT send you to Hell. You send yourself there.

No unclean thing can enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Christianity can be proven to you if you would give it a chance. If you actually tried, you would feel the Holy Spirit and it would be undeniable.
