Not to me ((((ACID))). But it is important to me that other people ARGUE with me about my beliefs. It's my favourite pass time, and I don't mind it if I lose an argument once in a while. Eternal Damnation doesn't exist (well except for those who call me fat while I'm on my period...) and God is the ultimate judge.
I would just like everyone in the world to Respect others beliefs (just not the belief that I'm fat, ok?). Kisses!!!

Broadly, I believe in an infinite creator infinitely manifest in everything, whether we percieve such things as positive, negative or neutral, because an infinite creator would not be infinite were It not omnipresent, and of which we are all part and aware of our temporary separation from the Universe at large. More specifically, I believe that the Infinite does care about everything because everything is part of It and It is infinitely self aware and as such has infinite ways of reaching us, be it through science, religion, art, whatever it is that makes us strive to be "better", which is in itself a term useable only by finite beings, because infinity can be neither positive or negative by nature. I believe that our attempts to seek an understanding of the Universe through whatever means we find most fulfilling is in order to return to our oneness with the Universe. Our concepts of "positive" and "negative" are entirely relative and due to our finite nature, as is the notion of karma. These are merely structures set up by finite beings. After a certain comprehension is attained, the specific entity that is incarnated will merge into a larger conglomorate entity, which may or may not incarnate based on its "size". These conglomorate entities eventually merge with each other and so on until the Universe is all One again, at which point it will expand and fragment again, and so on and so forth, infinitely. I do not believe in hell, per se, nor do I believe that people who believe differently than I do will go there when they die. I do not proselytise, because it is in opposition to my beliefs. People believe what they can, and disbelieve what they cannot. I will correct their grammar and tell them that I disagree with some of the things that they present as fact that simply do not jive with historical records, but this is not an attempt to convert them, it is an attempt to educate. Truth is manifestly important in what I believe in, and if my experience tells me that something is not true, then I feel obligated to mention it, but I do know that my perceptions of reality are as flawed as everyone else's. I know that I might be dead wrong about everything, but it's still what I believe.
I also can't stand it when people attack each other for their beliefs, and am more than happy to argue for the underdog if their system of belief does not preach hatred.
I would like it if people could accept each other's beliefs instead of fighting about it. I would gladly settle for a world in which people no longer fought about who has the right god, even if it was "boring". I figure we would find more interesting, far bolder problems, though.

I don't really care about sharing the same religious beliefs, since I don't share the same general beliefs about a lot of things. One little thing would barely make a difference.
I DO cares when their beliefs ruins and corrupts the political system, stops scientific system, causes wars genocides, and attempts to pass on psuedo-science as medical advice

It is important that people think for themselves and make up their own minds. I guess that is similar to me beliefs.
It is also important that people allow others to believe what they want to, as long as this includes tolerance of others.
That pretty much covers my "religion" or lack thereof.
I don't mind if people believe in God, Krishna, Allah or Flying Pixies for that matter. Who am I to say that I am right and they are wrong?

Yes, it would be nice if everyone held the same beliefs instead of feeling you must kill others that do not think as you do. Some even go to the extent of strapping bombs on their small children and send them to kill other people because these people have such hate and animosity toward others.

No. Then who would I debate with?
I love it that different people have different beliefs, I like to explore them, and I'm glad that I'm free to choose whichever one I want.

no longer particularly qualified to respond to this (no young ones and non-christian), yet attempting besides. i think of mothers and dads desire for his or her babies to advance as much as be good human beings. to those that've faith, that faith is an element of what they sense makes them good human beings. while attempting to instill in babies a documents of top and incorrect, maximum mothers and dads comprise the policies (stuff like: do no longer play with fits & shop your arms out of the electrical powered sockets) with ideals (stuff like: Jesus says this is incorrect to hate the babies around the line no count what coloration they are). different mothers and dads, those with out a non secular course, coach the babies in plenty a similar way, in basic terms they sense their babies should not be swayed with issues like "Jesus says...." or "The Goddess needs...". they desire their babies to compliment for themselves which course is nice for them (if any). i think of the two techniques of coping with this are quite plenty attempting to attain a similar objective: babies that understand the version between top and incorrect, and could make the attempt to do what's top. it particularly is my 2 cents (or greenback'o 5 or despite!) Be properly in all issues, Rave
