Is it possible to ask the question in English?

The Irish Republican Army* (or the I Ran Aways) is the name given to the self styled Irish Terrorist Organization from between 1968 - 2007.

Proclaiming they represented the Irish people in obtaining self rule for all Ireland, their self appointed mission was to wage a terror campaign on the British Government and people until Northern Ireland was re-united with the Southern Republic of Ireland.

Recently they have acknowledged that this cannot happen through violence and they have chosen to enter in a Peace treaty with the United Kingdom.

Their main aim now seems to be becoming the biggest drug-dealing Mafia in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland as born out in recent years by the capture in Columbia of a 3 man I.R.A. active Service Unit who had been training F.A.R.C. rebels in terrorist bomb making in exchange for cocaine.

Their political wing Sinn Fein suffering a disastrous defeat in the recent Irish Elections, showing that the people of the Republic of Ireland do not trust them.

Why, they were the military force that fought for Ireland's independence, of course!

Not to be confused with the Provisional Irish Republican Army.
